Time waste and challenging to change

Recently there were a lot of thoughts coming into my head about me wasting time for meaningless things, and it required me to think about how I manage the time I was given in this life. I think that I won't be mistaken if I say time management is not only my problem, but of millions people all over the world. There are so many distractions everywhere around us - loads of useless information all over the net and media that steals time!!! Long time ago I started this blog with the intention to keep it for personal development no matter how many people read it, and that sparkle of enthusiasm disappeared in obscurity in less than a couple of weeks.

Therefore, it is better to set a certain goal for myself. My intention from now on will be self-development and improving. Wasting of time is not about me anymore. Like Julie in the famous book-blog based movie I am going to write here about my developments over time; I cannot promise that I will as brilliant pieces as hers, though. Here is the list of things that i want to learn this year:

1. Spanish
Last semester I took a Spanish class, which was a complete waste of time as I don't feel like I know anything more than i knew before taking the class and it is completely my fault because I had the most brilliant teacher. The goal in here is to be able to speak  at a decent beginner level with a vocabulary of approximately 500-700 words.

2. Art and History.
I was always more of an artistic nature, why not developing this side of me? And History is one of the most inspirational things to learn from, isn't it?

3. Books.
There was a time when I was reading more than browsing web. (Yes, yes - It is possible!!!) I am not daring to come back to those times, but at least I can try to get back to reading a couple of books a months.

4. English.
You have probably already noticed that English is not my native language and I have a lot more to learn, so no comments.  Goal to enrich my vocabulary with 1000 more words.

I hope that I will find more things to learn, but that is not the complete list of things I wish to know more about.
